East Henderson's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Smoky Mountain Mustangs by a score of 57-47. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Mustangs last Tuesday, they had to take a 70-42 defeat.

East Henderson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mamie Hill, who went 9-for-15 to rack up 19 points in addition to six steals and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayden Henderson, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds.

Smoky Mountain lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kailey Broom, who posted seven points along with nine boards and six steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Kieaira Ensley, who put up ten points and six rebounds.

East Henderson's win bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Smoky Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 9-16.

Looking ahead, East Henderson will take on Pisgah at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pisgah will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something East Henderson surely won't give up without a fight. Smoky Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
