Aerie Garcia made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits. Garcia was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

In other batting news, Rachael Symoungkhoune and Jorge Hernandez did most of the damage at the plate: Symoungkhoune scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-5, while Hernandez scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
