Volleyball Recap: Southwest Triumphs

Southwest won the last time they faced Central and things went their way on Monday too. The Patriots walked away with a 2-0 win over the Hawks.

While Southwest won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21.

Southwest's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-11. As for Central, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Coming up, Southwest will head out on the road to take on Lamar County at 5:00 p.m. on the 30th. As for Central, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Northeast on the 23rd.
