While Findlay's win against Defiance wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Trojans skirted past the Bulldogs 5-4. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Findlay's record is now 9-4. As for Defiance, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-6.

Findlay and Defiance should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Trojans will take on Bowling Green at 5:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (76 vs. 201). Meanwhile, Defiance (ranked 126th) will meet Shawnee (ranked 343rd) at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
