Volleyball Recap: Lansing Christian Comes Up Short

Lansing Christian was the 2-0 winner over Bath when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pilgrims lost 3-0 to the Fighting Bees on Wednesday. The Pilgrims have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-8, 25-19.

Bree Magie paced Lansing Christian's offense, picking up five kills. Magie got some help from Ella Pier and her seven assists. Finally, Evah Foster kept Lansing Christian's defense grounded, leading the team with seven blocks.

Lansing Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Bath, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7-1 record this season.

Lansing Christian will face off against Charlotte at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bath, they will take on Saranac at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
