Soccer Game Preview: Nevada Union vs. Twelve Bridges

The Nevada Union Miners will head out to challenge the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Things were looking good for Nevada Union after they put the first points on the board on Monday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Del Campo. The Miners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Twelve Bridges has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They lost 3-0 to Yuba City on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Raging Rhinos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 914th, while the Honkers are ranked 114th).

Nevada Union's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Twelve Bridges, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4-1.

Nevada Union suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Twelve Bridges in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Nevada Union avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
