Ryan Grande was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with two runs and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Emerson Amrich, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs.

High Point Christian Academy's record now sits at 19-6. As for Calvary Day School, their record is now 10-7.

High Point Christian Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Calvary Day School when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 4-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for High Point Christian Academy since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
