Baseball Recap: Irving Tigers vs. Lake Highlands Wildcats
Irving was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell just short of the Lake Highlands Wildcats by a score of 4-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Irving of the 11-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.
Xavier Ybarra was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched.
