Baseball Recap: Barnwell Triumphs

Barnwell lost to North Central on Tuesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Warhorses came out on top against the Knights by a score of 6-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warhorses.

Cameron Austin was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Caiden Roland was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs.

Barnwell was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in five consecutive games.

Barnwell's victory bumped their record up to 18-9. As for North Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-22.

As of now, neither Barnwell nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
