Baseball Recap: San Antonio HomeSchool Takes a Loss

If San Antonio HomeSchool was riding high fresh off their 12-1 takedown of John F. Kennedy last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolverines fell just short of the St. Andrew's Highlanders by a score of 11-10 on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Wolverines in their meetings with the Highlanders: they've now lost three in a row.

AB G made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan P, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

San Antonio HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 12-19-1. As for St. Andrew's, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.

Coming up, San Antonio HomeSchool will venture away from home to take on Cornerstone Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Wolverines' hitters will have their work cut out for them. St. Andrew's does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
