It was a proper cat-fight when Cullman took on Southside on Saturday. The Bearcats walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Panthers. The Bearcats haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Tyler Brock was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three runs. Carson Stancil was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Cullman's record now sits at 8-3. As for Southside, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Cullman beat the Panthers by a score of 10-0 later that day.
