Heritage Academy has gone 8-2 against Imagine Prep Superstition recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Heroes will venture away from home to challenge the Panthers at 3:45 p.m. Heritage Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 15.2 runs per game this season.

Heritage Academy will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Ridgeline Academy on Thursday. The Heroes put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 14-2 win. Considering the Heroes have won 11 games by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Tatum Meeker was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Francesca Johnson and Sarahi Rico did most of the damage at the plate: Johnson scored three runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-4, while Rico scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases Johnson has posted since back in February of 2024. Emily Person was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Heritage Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ridgeline Academy only posted a batting average of .250.

Meanwhile, Imagine Prep Superstition was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 20-3 to Ridgeline Academy.

Heritage Academy pushed their record up to 12-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.0 runs over those games. As for Imagine Prep Superstition, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Everything went Heritage Academy's way against Imagine Prep Superstition in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Heritage Academy made off with a 25-2 victory. Will the Heroes repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
