Basketball Recap: Louise Comes Up Short

Louise was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 55-35 to the Yorktown Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1492nd, while the Wildcats are ranked 658th).

Louise's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Yorktown, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Louise will be playing in front of their home fans against Shiner at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. As for Yorktown, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Yorktown Wildcats take on the Refugio Bobcats at 1:15 p.m. on Monday. Refugio will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Yorktown surely won't give up without a fight.
