Mitchell Labrado Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Laguna Creek had to settle for second even though Mitchell Labrado put up the best numbers he has all season. Labrado threw for 281 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 38 yards. Hale Posts Huge Game in 38-31 Victory
David Hale's big game helped extend Elk Grove's winning streak to five on Friday. Nobody could stop Hale as he rushed for 94 yards and two touchdowns. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last six games he's played dating back to last season.
If the past is any indication, Hale could be in store for another big game when he takes on Sheldon on Friday. When Hale last faced the Huskies back in October of 2023, he rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 50 yards and a touchdown.
