Recap: Dr. Krop Lightning vs. St. Brendan Sabres

The Dr. Krop Lightning suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Wednesday. They were dealt a 84-43 loss at the hands of St. Brendan. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Dr. Krop has scored all season.

When it comes to explaining why Dr. Krop lost, one person who can't be blamed is Emmanuel Ferguson. Despite the final result, he scored 23 points along with five rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ferguson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Washington, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Dr. Krop won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Carol City at 7:30 p.m. on January 11th. As for St. Brendan, they will face off against Atlantic at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Atlantic will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 269th, while St. Brendan is ranked 78th).
