Basketball Recap: Molalla Comes Up Short

Molalla and The Dalles squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Molalla had to settle for second. They lost to The Dalles Riverhawks at home by a 58-44 margin. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Riverhawks recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Molalla's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. As for The Dalles, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-5.

Coming up, Molalla will head out to face off against Cascade at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cascade will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Molalla surely won't give up without a fight. The Dalles does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
