The Ardmore Tigers will face off against the Tecumseh Savages at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Ardmore has five straight victories, Tecumseh has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Ardmore is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Harrah 66-28. With the Tigers ahead 52-14 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Ardmore's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Da'Rai Washington, who rushed for 56 yards and a pair of scores on only five carries. Washington has been hot recently, having also posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last three times he's played. K'DRIEN MILLER was another key passer, throwing for 123 yards and two TDs while completing 87.5% of his passes.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Ardmore was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 428 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 263 rushing yards in five consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Tecumseh managed to keep up with Bethany until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Savages came up short against the Bronchos, falling 49-28. The Savages were down 42-20 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Wyatt Dodgion and Brody McLaren. McLaren had a great game and rushed for 80 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. Meanwhile, Dodgion was balling out in the loss, throwing for 286 yards and three TDs while picking up 11.9 yards per attempt, and also punching in one score on the ground.
Ardmore's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Tecumseh, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
Friday's contest might be decided in the trenches. Ardmore has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 292.6 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Tecumseh, though, as they've been averaging only 67.6 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?
Everything came up roses for Ardmore against Tecumseh in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 28-0 win. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Savages turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
