Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Coleman Elkins and Jayden Buchunam Lead St. Andrew's to Victory

St. Andrew had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 52-45 win over the Oak Park Eagles.

Leading St. Andrew's to victory were Jayden Buchunam and Coleman Elkins. Buchunam shot 4-for-7 from deep and dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds, while Elkins dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 boards. With that strong performance, Elkins is now averaging an impressive 8.3 rebounds per game.

St. Andrew's record now sits at 9-4. As for Oak Park, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.

St. Andrew's wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 58-52 victory against Regents on the 7th. As for Oak Park, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 73-45 win against Santa Clara on the 13th.
