Bedford was the 8-7 winner over Central Cambria when they last played one another last Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Bisons fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 7-6 on Monday. The Bisons' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Lara Bulger and Sammi Shoemaker stepped up to the plate in a big way. Bulger went 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI, while Shoemaker went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Leah Nee, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one double.

Bedford's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Central Cambria, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Bedford nor Central Cambria have any future games scheduled.
