Soccer Game Preview: Northeast vs. East

Northeast hasn't had much luck against East recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Vikings will host East at 5:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Northeast's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Kauffman with a sharp 8-0 victory.

Meanwhile, East made easy work of Kansas City East Christian Academy on Thursday and carried off a 6-1 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 3-0.

Northeast's victory bumped their record up to 16-0. As for East, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.

Northeast suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to East in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
