Basketball Game Preview: Hinton Comets vs. Binger-Oney Bobcats

Hinton and Binger-Oney are an even 4-4 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. The Hinton Comets will head out on the road to challenge the Binger-Oney Bobcats at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Hinton has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Monday, Hinton beat Apache 58-51.

Meanwhile, Binger-Oney came tearing into Friday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took their match with ease, bagging an 88-38 win over the Panthers. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 30 points or more this season.

Binger-Oney pushed their record up to 12-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.8 points per game. As for Hinton, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Hinton came up short against Binger-Oney when the teams last played last Tuesday, falling 59-48. Can Hinton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
