Clayton is 8-2 against Cleveland since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Clayton Comets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cleveland Rams at 6:00 p.m. Cleveland took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Clayton, who comes in off a win.

Clayton is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Corinth Holders by a score of 62-53 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 55-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Green Level. The game was a 23-23 toss-up at halftime, but the Rams couldn't quite close it out.

Clayton will need focus on slowing down Martina Paz-Aquino, one of several Cleveland players who made an impact when they last played. She dropped a double-double on 11 points and 16 boards. With that strong performance, Paz-Aquino is now averaging an impressive 8.5 rebounds per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Nevaeh Cannon, who went 6 for 10 on her way to 14 points and five steals.

The victory got Clayton back to even at 5-5. As for Cleveland, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

Clayton took a serious blow against Cleveland in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 70-34. Can Clayton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
