Softball Recap: Lindenhurst Sets Scoring Season-High Against Walt Whitman

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lindenhurst). They came out on top against the Walt Whitman Wildcats by a score of 9-6 on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Wildcats back in April, they had to take a 8-5 loss.

Lindenhurst's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-11. As for Walt Whitman, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-8.

Coincidentally, Lindenhurst and Walt Whitman will both be playing Sachem North the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will head out to face Sachem North at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bulldogs will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
