Softball Game Preview: Shoals Jug Rox vs. North Knox Warriors

Shoals is 0-6 against North Knox since April of 2016 but things could change on Wednesday. The Jug Rox will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Shoals is headed into Wednesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They came up short against Barr-Reeve, falling 20-1.

Shoals saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maisie Kidwell, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, North Knox suffered their biggest defeat since May 2, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 14-4 to Eastern Greene.

Shoals' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for North Knox, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
