Basketball Recap: Northwestern Takes a Loss

Northwestern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by the Dalton Bulldogs 57-20. The Huskies lost against the Bulldogs in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 55-48 score last time.

Northwestern's record now sits at 2-7. As for Dalton, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwestern will challenge Chippewa at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dalton, they will face off against Hillsdale at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
