Basketball Game Recap: Walnut Hills Eagles vs. Mt. Healthy Fighting Owls

On Saturday, Walnut Hills didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Mt. Healthy, but they still walked away with a 39-33 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Walnut Hills.

Walnut Hills' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jasia Ross led the charge by scoring 7 points along with 7 steals and 6 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Savanna Hayes-Bogle, who scored 13 points along with 9 rebounds.

Walnut Hills' win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Mt. Healthy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Walnut Hills will head out on the road to face off against Winton Woods at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mt. Healthy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Oak Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
