Swink and Fowler are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long. The Swink Lions will head out on the road to take on the Fowler Grizzlies at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Swink is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
Swink stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They blew past Dolores Huerta Prep 17-2.
Nick Paolucci and Nate Cabrera made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Paolucci tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Cabrera struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. At the plate, Paolucci got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and a triple, while Cabrera scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
