Basketball Recap: DSST: Montview Triumphs

If Bruce Randolph wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played DSST: Montview, they should've done a better job of containing Sa'Veyah Rogers. The DSST: Montview Knights strolled past the Bruce Randolph Grizzlies with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 47-28 thanks in part to Rogers, who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of DSST: Montview's points.

Another player making a difference was Mykah Rimpson, who posted four points in addition to seven boards and seven steals. Rimpson is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season.

DSST: Montview now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Bruce Randolph, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

DSST: Montview will venture away from home to face off against The Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bruce Randolph, they will welcome Sheridan at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
