Softball Recap: Sun Valley Comes Up Short

Sun Valley lost against Unionville back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vanguards fell just short of the Longhorns by a score of 3-2.

Sun Valley has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Unionville, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Sun Valley is set to take on their familiar foe East at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Unionville will square off against rival Downingtown West at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
