The Farmville Central Jaguars will welcome the Eastern Wayne Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Farmville Central is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They really took it to Fairmont for the full four quarters, racking up an 80-50 win. With the Jaguars ahead 44-20 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Eastern Wayne got the win against Seaforth on Friday by a conclusive 68-47. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 122nd, while the Hawks are ranked 259th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Farmville Central better keep an eye on Charlie Thomas. He was instrumental in Eastern Wayne's win, dropping a double-double with 27 points and 15 boards. Thomas has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 22 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Zavion Burden, who posted ten points and five steals.

Farmville Central's victory bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Eastern Wayne, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.
