Basketball Game Preview: Chilton County Tigers vs. Briarwood Christian Lions + Official Tickets

The Chilton County Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Briarwood Christian Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Chilton County is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Tuesday. They took a hard 87-71 fall against Thompson.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Cayden Meank, who went 8-for-17 to rack up 27 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Simon, who posted eight points.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Thursday Briarwood Christian sidestepped Hueytown for a 60-57 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Briarwood Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Chilton County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.

Chilton County came up short against Briarwood Christian in their previous meeting back in November, falling 86-80. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
