Make it five blowout wins for the Jonesboro Eagles this season. Everything went their way against Gholson on Friday as Jonesboro made off with a 49-28 victory. The win was familiar territory for Jonesboro who now have three in a row.
Despite the loss, Gholson still got an impressive performance from Hudson Thomas, who scored ten points.
Jonesboro's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Gholson, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.
Jonesboro will head out on the road to take on Aquilla at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Aquilla has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 230 points over their last four contests. As for Gholson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Abbott at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Abbott is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
