Wakeland extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Miles Bladon. The Wolverines took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 42-0 win over the Centennial Titans for which the team can thank Bladon, who rushed for 144 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 59 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Wakeland's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Dallas Preston, Austin Wilson, and Blake Landry, who each picked up one sack apiece. Wakeland received some extra help from Grayson Myer, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Wakeland's record is now 6-0. As for Centennial, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Wakeland will venture away from home to square off against Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Centennial, they will welcome Lebanon Trail at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Titans will be up against the Trail Blazers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.8 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
