Basketball Recap: Harrells Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Harrells Christian Academy's last matchup with Northwood Temple Academy could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Monday. The Crusaders were dealt a 54-12 defeat at the hands of the Eagles. The Crusaders just can't catch a break and have now endured nine losses in a row dating back to last season.

Mary Willow Rumbold was Harrells Christian Academy's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Mollie Sasser held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.

La'Najia Walker continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Northwood Temple Academy, going 10-for-16 on her way to 21 points along with five boards and five steals. Walker is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Kyleigh Ramos was another key player, putting up six points and seven steals.

Harrells Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Northwood Temple Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
