Soccer Recap: Cleburne County Comes Up Short

Cleburne County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Talladega, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Talladega this season, with their most recent loss being a 4-1 defeat back in March.

Cleburne County's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Talladega, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cleburne County will square off against Weaver at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cleburne County are facing Weaver at the right time seeing as Weaver are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Talladega, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Munford at 5:00 p.m.
