Preview: North Webster Knights vs. Union Parish Farmers
The North Webster Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Union Parish Farmers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Webster is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road.
Last Friday, North Webster was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 36-31 to Richwood.
Meanwhile, Union Parish unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They were outmatched by Bastrop on the road and fell 62-25. While losing is never fun, Union Parish can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 209th, while Bastrop is ranked 23rd).
North Webster's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-2. As for Union Parish, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
North Webster took a serious blow against Union Parish in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, falling 51-14. Can North Webster avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
