Basketball Recap: Triad Wins Going Away Against Litchfield

Triad won the last time they faced Litchfield and things went their way on Friday too. The Triad Knights put the hurt on the Litchfield Purple Panthers with a sharp 63-37 victory. That 26 point margin sets a new team best for the Knights this season.

When it comes to explaining why Litchfield lost, don't look at Ethan Saathoff. Despite the final result, he went 5 of 9 on his way to 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keenan Logan, who posted four points.

The win was the third in a row for Triad, bringing their record for this year to 11-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points per game. As for Litchfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

Triad will square off against Eldorado at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Litchfield, they will welcome Mt. Olive at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
