Basketball Recap: Brooks Skates Past Catalyst-Maria with Ease

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Brooks's strategy against Catalyst-Maria on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Brooks Eagles blew the Catalyst-Maria Wolves out of the water with a 68-31 final score. With the Eagles ahead 47-16 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brooks to victory, but perhaps none more so than Malik Arogundade, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Braylon Smith, who put up seven points and four steals.

Brooks is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Catalyst-Maria, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-3.

One thing working in Richards' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
