Volleyball Recap: Logan Elm Braves vs. Liberty Union Lions
Logan Elm's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Liberty Union Lions 3-0. The Braves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17, 25-18.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Logan Elm to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sadie Binkley, who had 15 digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Kimberly Petty, who had five aces and three digs.
She wasn't the only good server: Logan Elm was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Liberty Union only served six.
Logan Elm is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for Liberty Union, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-12.
As of now, neither Logan Elm nor Liberty Union have any future games scheduled.
