St. Regis is a perfect 8-0 against Victor since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The St. Regis Tigers will host the Victor Pirates at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

St. Regis is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Lincoln on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. St. Regis was dealt a 72-26 loss at the hands of Lincoln. The Tigers were down 43-19 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, Victor came up short against Hot Springs last Saturday, falling 61-35.

St. Regis will have to contain Chloe Pollan as she made an impact in Victor's last game. She posted 12 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Lilli Buchanan, who scored six points.

Even though they lost, Victor smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in four consecutive games.

Victor's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for St. Regis, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

St. Regis took their victory against Victor in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 by a conclusive 68-47. Does St. Regis have another victory up their sleeve, or will Victor turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
