Basketball Recap: Braden River Skates Past Lakewood Ranch Preparatory Academy with Ease

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Braden River on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Lakewood Ranch Preparatory Academy Eagles out of the water with a 45-3 final score. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 26-3.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Braden River to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kelis McGrady, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards. McGrady is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Mya Ortega, who went 6 of 9 on her way to 13 points and eight rebounds.
