Volleyball Recap: Johansen Comes Up Short

Johansen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 23rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Grace Davis Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Grace Davis scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18, 25-17.

Johansen's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Grace Davis, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9.

Johansen has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Beyer on the 11th. As for Grace Davis, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Central Valley on the 11th.
