Basketball Recap: Webster County Takes a Loss

Webster County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Byne Christian Saints, falling 52-19. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Webster County this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-25 back in November.

Webster County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Byne Christian, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Webster County will venture away from home to challenge Macon County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Macon County will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Webster County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Byne Christian, they will face off against Bible Baptist Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
