Baseball Recap: Llano Comes Up Short

Llano lost against Comfort back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bobcats/Deer.

Carl Schutte made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Cash Lynch, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs.

Llano's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Comfort, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-11.

While Llano had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
