Baseball Recap: Aspen Takes a Loss

Aspen lost against Coal Ridge back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Skiers lost 13-3 to the Titans. The Skiers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aspen saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mickey Marolt, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Aspen's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Coal Ridge, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-2-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Titans beat Aspen by a score of 10-0 later that day.
