Basketball Recap: Ridgeline Comes Up Short

Ridgeline lost against Post Falls back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Ridgeline Falcons were dealt a 68-29 defeat at the hands of the Post Falls Trojans. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-15.

Despite the loss, Ridgeline had strong showings from Brayden Allen, who went 5 of 12 en route to 15 points, and Caden Andreas, who posted eight points and three steals. Allen is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Ridgeline now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Post Falls, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Ridgeline will take on Lewis & Clark in a holiday battle at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday at. As for Post Falls, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Gonzaga Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gonzaga Prep will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Post Falls surely won't give up without a fight.
