Basketball Recap: Neah Bay Snags Eighth Victory in Last Nine Games

Neah Bay won the last time they faced Crescent, and Makyah Chambers did his part to make sure it happened again. The Neah Bay Red Devils put the hurt on the Crescent Loggers with a sharp 64-42 victory on Friday thanks in part to Chambers, who went 9 of 19 on his way to 18 points in addition to eight boards and six assists. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Daniel Cumming, who posted nine points and seven rebounds. That's the most points he has posted since back in February of 2024.

Neah Bay is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. As for Crescent, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Neah Bay didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 75-47 win against North Mason on the 18th. As for Crescent, they will face off against Chief Kitsap Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
