Basketball Recap: Buffalo Takes a Loss

Buffalo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Clever Blue Jays 62-33. While losing is never fun, the Bison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 401st, while the Blue Jays are ranked 186th).

Buffalo's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Clever, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Buffalo will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Eldon at 6:00 p.m. on January 7th. Clever has already played their next matchup, a 62-54 defeat against Bolivar on the 30th.
