Basketball Recap: Reseda's Run of Ten Straight Wins Now Over

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Reseda couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a hard 85-71 fall against the Math & Science College Preparatory Sharks on Saturday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (59), the Regents still had to take the loss.

Despite the loss, Reseda still got an impressive performance from Anthony White, who posted 36 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Jones, who scored ten points.

Reseda moved to 17-5 with that loss, which also ended their ten-game winning streak. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.5 points over those games. As for Math & Science College Preparatory, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

Reseda does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Math & Science College Preparatory, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 91-63 victory against Sherman Oaks CES on the 26th.
