Volleyball Recap: Morro Bay Takes a Loss

Morro Bay lost against Lemoore back in August of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pirates fell 2-0 to the Tigers.

Lemoore had a senior duo take command as Gabriela Leon had seven digs and one assist and Natasha Johnson had four digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Johnson.

Morro Bay now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Lemoore, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Coincidentally, Morro Bay and Lemoore will both be playing McLane the next time they take the court. The Pirates will head out to face the Highlanders at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
